I qualified as a solicitor in 2003. Since qualification,
I have specialised in personal injury and employment claims, working solely for trade union clients.
I joined OHP in May 2006 and was instantly impressed by their longstanding commitment to the
provision of legal services for union members. Understanding how trade unions operate is the
key to successfully making claims for members.
I work for Transport General Workers Union, including BASSA and UCATT.
My work involves successfully pursuing accident claims for members who have been injured on
construction sites or on board flights, in the course of their employment.
I also deal with cases in which members have been injured while on their way to and from work.
I also deal with employment litigation on an increasing scale, including claims for unfair dismissal,
stress and harassment, all types of discrimination and under the Working Time Regulations 1998.
